Client Corner: Scott Wilcock talks with Bruce Gilmour
Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) Client Scott Wilcock recently sat down with fellow alum Bruce Gilmour for an engaging Client Corner talk about Bruce’s GDB experience and his many guide dogs through the years. Client Corner is a GDB series where clients interview one another about their lived experiences.
Honoring a Trailblazer: Marge Cosgrove, GDB’s first guide dog client
During Women’s History Month, we pay tribute to women who break barriers and create new paths for others. Marge Cosgrove did exactly that. As the very first client team at Guide Dogs for the Blind, Marge and her guide dog Vicki helped prove that guide dogs could change lives.
Three guide dog puppies recently took to the skies, traveling from California to Colorado to meet their GDB puppy raisers who will help shape their futures. Their journey—from Oakland to Denver—was made possible by RetrievAir, a pet-focused airline that flies animals and their families between major destinations across the U.S.
