Conversations with Chris Livestream, Jan. 31st

Happy New Year! I hope 2026 is already bringing meaningful moments to you. Thank you for the many ways you helped advance GDB’s mission throughout 2025.

Don’t miss my livestream Conversations with Chris event on January 31st at 10:30 AM PT. Along with my Annual Update and 2026 forecast, I’ll be joined by Kirsten French, GDB’s Manager of Community Education, Outreach, and Advocacy.

Kirsten will share insights from GDB’s recent survey of guide dog handlers, highlighting how policies, practices, and attitudes can create barriers to access—and how intentional education and advocacy can promote equity for people who are blind or have low vision.

Mission Moment: Derek Daniel

"I want to thank GDB’s donors. My gratitude isn’t just for the guide dog, K9 Buddy or OMI programs they help fund—it’s also for the community and connection we have with the staff and with the volunteers that they make possible." – Derek Daniel with guide dog Koa
